Get ready to ride hard and descend fast at the Heavy Petal Enduro, returning to the trails above Smithers this June. Hosted at the legendary Bluff trail network, this enduro race brings together riders of all ages for a day of climbing, descending, and celebrating the local biking community. 

In classic enduro style, only the downhill stages are timed — meaning riders must earn every descent by pedaling their way to the top before dropping in.

Expect a mix of blue and black diamond terrain, big smiles at the finish lines, and plenty of cheering along the trails. With short and long course options, the race welcomes a wide range of riders, from up-and-coming shredders to seasoned trail veterans.

Riders ages 10+ can take part, making it a true community event for the Smithers mountain bike scene. After the final stage, the celebration continues with prizes, podiums, and an after-party with the local biking community.
