Smithers Pride 2025 Theme: TRANScending Hate

Join in the fun Saturday June 7, 2025 from 11am-2pm at Bovill Square as the Smithers Pride Society hosts their 8th annual Pride Festival with some free, family-friendly events dedicated to celebrating love, diversity, community spirit and inclusion.

Wear your brightest rainbow colours and bring your sunscreen. Come solo, come with friends, or bring the whole family to join folks from Northern BC and afar for an afternoon that fills Bovill Square with colour, joy, and pride! Vendors will be on site, speakers and entertainment will be on stage.

Friday June 6

7pm: 2-Spirit Identity Talk, by Ella Lamoureuxat Smithers Public Library. Free/by donation/ no tickets required. All ages

Saturday June 7

9-10 am: Pride Family Story Time at Smithers Public Library
11am - 3pm: Pride Day Festival at Bovill Sq. with booths, food, info, entertainment, bike valet available
8pm to Midnight: Drag Show DJ Dance After Party, 19+ age at Dze L K'ant Friendship Centre Hall • tickets at Mountain Eagle and online here

Sunday June 8

7:30 pm: Drag Bingo, 19+ age at Smithers Brewing Company, tickets online only.
