The Smithers Golf and Country Club is a pictureesque 18-HOLE CHAMPIONSHIP GOLF COURSE with DRIVING RANGE, PRO SHOP, CLUB and CART RENTALS, LESSONS, and CLUBHOUSE DINING ROOM. The banquet hall and dining room has a OUTDOOR WRAPAROUND DECK deck a spectacular view of Hudson Bay Mountain — a scenic place for anyone to have a meal and a cold one. Disc Golf
The Bulkley Valley Disc Golf Association has built TWO LOCAL COURSES —one in Smithers and another in Telkwa. They are the most northern courses listed on the Professional Disc Golf Association website. If you have YOUR OWN DISCS, get out and play a round!
The Smithers Golf Club course is laid out at the foot of Hudson's Bay Mountain, surrounded by mountain ranges on all sides. It's an 18-hole golf course, rated par 72 and is a total of 6,539 playing yards.

The course will challenge both the high and low handicap player, with some rolling hills, mature trees, a creek that runs throughout the course, and water that comes into play on six holes. In particular, the course is known for its very challenging Par 3's; all four holes, of which, require precise shotmaking to walk off with par or better. The Club hosts a number of tournaments throughout the season, open to everyone.
