The Steelhead Slalom is where speed meets community in the heart of Smithers. Taking place on HUDSON BAY MOUNTAIN RESORT, the Steelhead Slalom is a high-energy, grassroots race that brings everyone from young shredders to seasoned speedsters together to carve fast lines, chase the clock, and cheer each other on in true mountain-town style. The race takes place in the Gully at Hudosn Bay Mountain. The course which is completely built by volunteers takes a new shape each year using natural features on the mountain. The fun times and vibes aren't limited to the course. Up top the party is happening with music, bbq, and the sounds of fans cheering on the riders. Post-race celebrations are happening at SMITHERS BREWING CO. with fun games and dj's
